Kim (Piearcy) Evans

Kim has served in ministry alongside her husband Pastor Barri Evans for 29 years. She was raised in a Pastor’s home and loved learning to serve from her parents, Pastor David and Virginia Piearcy. Kim surrendered her life to ministry as a teen and attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO where she studied Bible and Church Music.

Barri and Kim have served together in churches in Abilene, TX, Los Angeles, CA and Midland, TX. Throughout her ministry, Kim has experienced the mountains and valleys of the 3M’s: Marriage, Motherhood and Ministry. She loves to share how God has been faithful through it all, and her struggles have fostered her love of encouraging women in their walk with the Lord. She enjoys teaching ladies in Bible studies and at retreats and conferences.

Kim and Barri have raised two beautiful daughters, Hadyn Olivia (27) and Masyn Victoria (24), and is loving her new role as mother-in-law to Brandon (Masyn). Kim and Barri are excited to begin the journey of grandparent-hood in August/2021.

The Evans’ biggest and most rewarding task asked of the Lord to date, is planting a church in Midland, TX. The Orchard Church was planted in 2010, and they continue to serve their sweet congregation, thankful that God really does use simple, willing people to work His earthly to-do’s.
